Are there any disadvantages to using this technology?

There are two main disadvantages to using VoIP technology. The first is that it requires a reliable internet connection, which can be more difficult to ensure in areas with bad weather or poor infrastructure. The second disadvantage is that remote employees will need some type of equipment on their end—such as a headset or laptop computer—to use it. This isn’t necessarily a drawback, though; you may find employees prefer using headsets over conventional office phones. And if your company provides laptops to its workers, then they already have everything they need. In fact, studies show that workers who work remotely enjoy greater productivity and satisfaction than those who work from an office all day long.  If you decide to go with VoIP service providers, there are many advantages that make it worth your while. Your business communications will become cheaper and easier without sacrificing quality, so why not give them a try?
